11. Operation
Always pull the mains plug before filling the tank.
Never fill the tank with flammable liquids or add such to the fog liquid. Only ever use suitable water-based
fog liquids (the CONRAD range features suitable fog liquids, see "Technical Data").
Never tilt the device. Fog liquids may leak out or enter the inside of the device and cause damage there or
injure the operator.
Make sure that no liquid enters the inside of the device when you are filling it with fog liquid. This may cause
damage to the device and potentially fatal electrical shock.
a) Preparation
• Ensure that the mains plug is not plugged in.
• Unscrew the tank cover from the device and fill fog liquid into the tank.
The tank can be taken out of the holder at the device for filling.
• Unscrew the tank closure lid again and put the tank back into its holder at the device if necessary.
• Align the fog exit as desired.
• Plug the mains plug into a mains socket with a protective ground contact.
• Switch on the device with the mains switch (1) (set switch to ON position).
• The mains switch (1) will be lit when the device is on.
• The device heats up now. Heating up takes a few minutes.
b) Light effect
• Once the device has been connected to the mains, the light effect is activated.
• The light effect is controlled by the integrated microphone MIC (5) and thus changes in time to the music (sound-
to-light control).
• Adjust the sensitivity of the microphone MIC (5) to the music volume with the sound-to-light controller (2).
Use a matching screwdriver to adjust the controller. The farther you turn the controller clockwise, the more
sensitively will the control react.
Set the microphone sensitivity so that the light effect changes in time with the music.
