Installing hard disks
• Install your hard disks as illustrated below.
• Use the provided screws to fasten the hard disks.

Option B
For option B, install the four provided rubber buffers on the screw holes directly
beneath the large hard disk.
Installation in PC housing
If you do not have thorough knowledge on the installation of this product, have the
installation carried out by a professional or in a specialist shop!
Incorrect installation of the product will cause damage to the product, your computer
and all connected devices.
Caution, risk of fatal injury!
Turn off the computer in which you wish to install the product, and all connected
devices. Disconnect all devices from the power supply by unplugging them. Simply
turning off the devices using the on/off switch does not mean a device is voltage-
free!
• Open your computer's case and remove the lid carefully.
• Insert the product in a free 13.3 cm (5.25”) mounting bay, observing the right direction. Fasten
the product in the housing with screws.
• Connect all necessary cables.
• If necessary, fasten all cables using cable ties to prevent them from hanging into your
computer's CPU fan.
• Reclose your computer's case.
• Connect your computer and monitor to the power supply and turn on all devices.
• If your computer does not start up normally, turn it off immediately and check all settings and
cable connections.
Before reopening your computer, disconnect it from the power supply; see above!
Disposal
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory
guidelines.

Intended use
The product is intended to mount up to four 6.35 cm (2.5”) hard disks in one 13.3 cm (5.25”)
mounting bay on your PC housing. You may also install one single 8.9 cm (3.5”) hard disk and
two 6.35 cm (2.5”) hard disks.
For safety reasons, you must not convert and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. Read the
instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together
with its operating instructions.
