a) Charging the internal rechargeable battery

•  Turn the lid (1) counter clockwise to remove it.
•  Connect the included cable’s Micro-USB plug to the Micro-USB input (3).
•  Connect the USB plug to a suitable USB power supply (e.g. USB mains adapter with 

2000 mA output current).

•  The charge indicator (5) remains lit during charging.
•  The charge indicator goes out when the internal rechargeable battery is fully charged.
• 

Disconnect the cable from the product and the power supply once the internal battery has 

been fully charged. The product is now ready for use.

  For infrequent use, we recommend fully charging the internal rechargeable battery 

once every 6 months to maintain maximum performance.

b) Charging mobile devices

•  Connect your mobile device to the USB charging port (2).
•  Press the on/off button (10) to turn on the product. The mobile device battery is now charging. 

The lantern (4) is also activated. The internal rechargeable battery’s charge status (7) is 

shown for approx. 10 seconds.

  The lantern may not be turned off entirely during charging. If you do not need the 

lantern, push and hold the  button (9) to dim the lantern down fully.

 

To check internal rechargeable battery’s charge status, press the on/off button.

•  Monitor the charging process. Once the charging has been completed, disconnect the USB 

cable from the product and the mobile device.

•  Press the on/off switch to turn off the product.

c) LED lamp

•  Press the on/off button (10) to activate the lantern (4). The internal rechargeable battery’s 

charge status (7) is shown for approx. 10 seconds. The power indicator (6) remains lit.

•  Press the + button (8) to increase the brightness.
•  Press the  button (9) to decrease the brightness.
•  Press the S button (11) to use the lantern to send an SOS. Press the S button again to turn 

off the SOS.

•  Press the on/off button to turn off the lantern.

  Automatic power-off after 5 minutes: Press the button (12). The charge status 

indicator (7) flashes three times. The lantern turns off automatically after 5 minutes.

d) Charge status indicator

1 LED lit: 0 – 24 % remaining battery capacity
2 LEDs lit: 25 – 74 % remaining battery capacity
3 LEDs lit: 75 – 100 % remaining battery capacity

e) Carabiner

  The carabiner is intended for hanging the product only. Do not use the carabiner for 

any other purpose.

•  Attach the carabiner to the lid (1) to hang the product from suitable equipment.
•  You may also attach the product to a suitable hook without using the carabiner. Make sure 

the product cannot fall down.

Cleaning and care

• 

Disconnect the product from any connected devices before cleaning.

•  Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical 

solutions since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.

•  Never submerge the product in water.
•  There are no components located inside the product you need to maintain. Never open/

dismantle the product.

• 

Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth. You may use a cloth dampened with a little 

lukewarm water to remain tougher stains. Do not apply too much pressure to the housing to 

prevent scratching.

•  You can easily remove dust using a long-haired, soft and clean brush.

Disposal

  Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the 

household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance 

with applicable regulatory guidelines.

 

You  thus  fulfill  your  statutory  obligations  and  contribute  to  the  protection  of  the 

environment.
