Wrong values of the wind or rain sensor
• If you want to compare the measured values of the wind and rain sensor with other weather stations or
the information online, you need to consider that local situations strongly influence the measured values.
Deviations in wind speed and wind direction are, e.g., caused by buildings or trees. The same applies to
rain.
• Check the rain sensor to see if there are one or several leaves in the collection funnel and remove them.
• Check that the arrow and mark “N” on the outdoor sensor point North.
In the southern hemisphere (southern half of the earth), the outdoor sensor and the weather
station must be configured the other way around. For this, see chapter 12. v).
• Check the attachment of the outdoor sensor; it may have turned due to wind (e.g. in a storm). The wind
direction will no longer be accurate then.
