i) Recording/Playback Function
You can play, record and play back the notes you play on the keyboard (40).
• If a demo song or an accompanying rhythm is played, first stop it with the START/STOP key (24).
• Start recording with the REC key (26). A metronome sound will appear.
• The display (18) will show REC.
• Set the speed of the metronome with the TEMPO keys (5). The key "+" increases speed, the key "-"
reduces it.
• Play on the keyboard (40).
• Stop recording by pushing the REC key (26) again.
Recording stops automatically when the memory is full.
A previous recording is overwritten by the new one.
• Push the PLAY STOP key (27) to start or stop playback of the recording.
j) Programming an Accompanying Drum Rhythm
You can programme your own accompanying drum rhythm and play it back while playing.
Programming:
• If a demo song or an accompanying rhythm is played, first stop it with the START/STOP key (24).
• Start programming with the PROG key (28). A metronome sound will appear.
• The display (18) will show PRG.
• Set the speed of the metronome with the TEMPO keys (5). The key "+" increases speed, the key "-"
reduces it.
• The keys on the keyboard (40) can now be used to programme your own drum rhythm. Push the keys of
the keyboard (40) on which the desired percussion instruments are saved (see symbols above the keys).
• End programming by pushing the PROG key (28) again.
Programming stops automatically when the memory is full.
A present programming is overwritten by the new one.
Playback/stop/terminate:
• Push the NULL-PLAY (29) to play back the drum rhythm.
• The display (18) will show PLAY.
• The speed of the accompanying drum rhythm can be set with the TEMPO keys (5) during playback as
well. The key "+" increases speed, the key "-" reduces it.
• Push the NULL-PLAY (29) again to stop the accompanying drum rhythm.
