Power supply via the connected DVB-T equipment
When connecting this way, make sure that your DVB-T equipment supplies
the required 5 V antenna voltage and is turned on. For this please refer to
the instructions manual of your DVB-T device.
The supplied power unit and the power adapter are not needed for this
connection method.
• Connect the external DVB-T antenna to the antenna input of your DVB-T equipment.
For this, use the supplied aerial lead (Coaxial plug to F plug).
• Plug in the coaxial plug to the antenna input of your DVB-T equipment.
• By turning manually, fasten the F plug of the antenna cable to the external antenna.
• Slide the weather proof sleeve of the aerial lead over the F plug.
Power supply using the supplied power unit
Use the power unit and the power adapter when more than one DVB-T de-
vice is using the antenna. When using this connection method, make sure
that the antenna voltage is turned off in all the connected DVB-T devices.
For this please refer to the instruction manuals of your DVB-T devices.
The mains socket to which to device is connected must be easily accessib-
le, so that the device can be quickly disconnected from the mains power
supply in case of failure.
Before plugging in the power adapter, make sure that the operating voltage
of the device stated on the plate matches the available mains voltage. If
the information does not match the available mains voltage, do not plug in
the power adapter. A wrong supply voltage may damage the power adapter
irreparably and cause dangers to the user.
• Connect the coax connector of the feed adapter with the antenna input of the DVB-T
device.
• Plug in the coaxial plug of the supplied aerial lead (Coaxial plug to F plug) to the
power adapter („Antenna“ input).
• Fasten the F plug of the antenna cable to the external antenna by turning manually.
• Slide the weather proof sleeve of the aerial lead over the F plug.
• Plug in the low-voltage plug of the supplied power unit to the low-voltage socket on
the side of the power adapter.
• Plug the power unit into a wall outlet of the public power supply grid.

Alignment
The external antenna can be aligned horizontally or vertically. The signal is usually
transmitted horizontally. If the reception is not satisfactory after connection and com-
missioning, change the alignment of the antenna to achieve the best possible recep-
tion.
For this, loosen the tightening screw at the back of the antenna. Turn the antenna or
change the position of the flexible gooseneck stand. Align the antenna until the best
possible reception is obtained. For most DVB-T receivers the signal strength and the
signal quality can be shown. For this please refer to the instruction manual of your
DVB-T device. Tighten the fastening screws again.
Maintenance, cleaning and service instructions
The external DVB-T antenna is maintenance free, therefore you should never open it.
If you do open it, the warranty will be rendered null and void.
The outside of the casing should be cleaned only with a clean dry cloth or brush.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as the surface of the
housing could be damaged.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable materials and must not be in the household
waste!
Dispose of the product at the end of its service life in accordance with the
prevailing legal regulations.
