c) Weather station
• Open the battery compartment (9), while sliding the battery compartment cover
downwards and insert 3 AA batteries to the correct polarity (please note plus/+ and
minus/-).
• Put the battery compartment cover back on.
12. Power supply operation of the weather station
• Connect the power supply provided to a suitable socket and insert an output plug into
the connection socket (8) at the side of the weather station.
13. Start-up and operation
a) Radio clock
• The main device should start the synchronization of the radio clock after inserting the
batteries/ connecting the adapter. The antenna symbol flashes in the display during
synchronization (15).
• If the DCF signal is successfully received, the antenna symbol
appears with
full signal strength on the screen. The radio clock is synchronized daily to 02:30 and
03:30.
• Each reception cycle lasts 2,5 to 10 minutes.
• Flashing antenna symbol
: Searching for radio clock signal
• Permanent antenna symbol
: Reception successful
• Antennas symbol : Reception failed
• No antenna symbol in the display: Reception deactivated
