Connecting the Clea-
ner to the Power
Supply
The operating voltage
shown on the rating plate
must correspond to the
voltage of the mains
power supply.
• Ensure that the cleaner
is switched off and in-
sert the plug of the
mains lead into a pro-
perly installed and fused
plug socket with ear-
thing contact.

4. Operation
Switching ON the Cleaner
Two operating modes are
possible:
Switch position “I”:
The cleaner motor runs
continuously.
Switch position “auto”:
The cleaner motor starts
only when the appliance
connected to the appliance
plug socket is switched on.
CAUTION!
Before turning the switch
to position “auto”, ensure
that the appliance connec-
ted to the appliance plug
socket is switched off.
