6.1

Overview

The Tsi574 has the following ways to notify external devices about events occurring within the switch:

1.

Generate a RapidIO Port-write maintenance message when enabled (as described in the 

RapidIO 

Interconnect Specification (Revision 1.3)

).

2.

Assert the INT_b interrupt pin when an enabled interrupt is generated

Most events can generate both types of notification, however some events only generate interrupts. 

There is no priority or precedence between events in the error notification scheme of the 
Tsi574.
