Standard size surface mount pads are also provided. These pads can be populated with standard
resistors, capacitors or jumpers to connect the microcontroller I/O pin to ground or one of two
voltage rails: VDDA or VDDB. For further details regarding the voltage rails, refer to section 4.3.

3.3 Piggyback Board Connectors
Surrounding the QFP microcontroller footprints are four high density connectors. These
connectors allow the Main Board to be interfaced with
Piggyback Boards
to extend the
functionality offered by the Main Board. All microcontroller I/O, as well as power and ground are
passed through these connectors to the Piggyback Board. A detailed listing of the connector
signals can be found in Table 1.
