USB Register Management Overview
USB Register Management is a powerful feature that gives the Gray
328|
MXE
the ability to transfer registers to and from a USB memory
device. The register management allows for custom register directory
naming and the ability to delete registers either locally, on the mixer, or
remotely on the USB memory device. This section describes in detail the
USB Register Management.
Register Management Menu
To access the Register Management Menu perform the following:
1.
Press the MENU button to call up the System Menu.
2.
Press MORE 4 times to display the fifth level of the System Menu.
3.
Press the USB soft button to display the Register Management Menu
as shown.

The Register Management Menu has two indicators:
•
STATUS
: This indicator tells the current status of the USB memory
device.
•
CURRENT DIRECTORY
: This indicator tells the current directory in
use on the USB memory device.
Transfer Registers To/From USB Memory Device
To transfer registers to or from a USB memory device:
1.
Make sure you are in the Register Management Menu as previously
described in section “Register Management Menu“ on page 100.
Note
The control panel USB port has two USB connectors. Either connector
can be used for connecting the USB memory device.
