Auxiliary input: USB socket
Connection
Connect the socket of the portable
audio player to the unit’s USB input
socket.
Once the USB socket of the portable
digital audio player is connected, the
AUX-USB menu is displayed.
Use
Depending on the type of portable audio
player, select a folder (MP3 player, USB
key) or a playlist (portable digital music
player).
Note
: once connected, you can no
longer directly control your portable dig-
ital audio player. You must use the keys
on the system’s front panel or on the
central control unit.
Selecting a track
By default, albums are listed in alpha-
betical order.
Note
: if you connect a USB key, all the
folders will be at the same level on the
tree structure.
You can select a track directly.
Depending on the type of digital port-
able audio player, you may refine your
selection by folders and files, or by a
criteria search:
– artist
– album
– genre
– playlist
– all tracks.
Auxiliary input: jack socket
Connection
Connect the jack socket of the portable
audio player to the jack input socket.
Use
Neither the artist or track name are dis-
played on the system screen.
Note
: you cannot select a track directly
from your audio system.
You will need to select a track directly
on your portable audio player while the
vehicle is stationary.
