PUNCTURE, EMERGENCY SPARE WHEEL

Emergency spare wheel 4x2
version ( 2WD )
This is placed in cage 4 underneath
the vehicle.
To take out the spare wheel 3 :
– Open the tailgate;
– undo bolt
2 using wheelbrace 1
(refer to the information on “Tools” in
this section);
– detach the holder 4 (example A ) or
depending on the vehicle, detach the
holder
4 using the handle 5 (exam-
ple B );
– remove the emergency spare
wheel 3 .
In case of puncture
Depending on the vehicle, a tyre infla-
tion kit or emergency spare wheel is
provided (refer to the following pages).
If the vehicle is parked on
the hard shoulder, you must
warn other road users of
your vehicle’s presence
with a warning triangle or with other
devices as per the legislation apply-
ing to the country you are in.
To store the wheel 3 in the cage
– Place the punctured tyre in the sub-
frame 4 ;
– to return the holder 4 to its initial po-
sition, proceed in reverse order and
tighten the bolt using the wheel-
brace
1 to refit the assembly;
– make sure it is correctly locked.

Do not touch the exhaust,
risk of burns .
Do not leave the tools un-
secured inside the vehicle
as they may come loose
under braking. After use,
make sure the tools are correctly
positioned in their housings:
risk of
injury .
The jack is designed for wheel
changing purposes only. Under no
circumstances should it be used for
carrying out repairs underneath the
vehicle or to gain access to the un-
derside of the vehicle.
