Operation/Use:
•
“ON” mode
– turn switch to “ON” to operate I-On™ as standard light. In “ON”
mode, light will stay on until switch is turned to “OFF” or “AUTO”.
•
“AUTO” mode
– activates light sensor and motion sensor. To operate in “AUTO”
mode, I-On™ must be located in a dark room. Movement within 8 feet of motion
sensor causes light to turn on automatically in “AUTO” mode. Auto-off timer saves
energy by turning I-On™ light off 90 seconds after motion ceases.
NOTE: I-On™ must be located in a dark area for unit to function in “AUTO” mode.
Light and Motion Sensor Adjustments (fig A):
•
Light/Motion sensor housing can be adjusted up to 90 degrees by moving housing
up and down to desired angle.
•
Motion sensor detects movement within 8 feet of unit and in a 60 degree horizon-
tal X 20 degree vertical field of view.
Installation:
•
Batteries
(Fig B) – Locate battery door on bottom of unit, depress plastic clip in
direction of arrow and lift up to remove battery door. Use 4 AA batteries (not
included) and align as indicated in Fig B (for best results, use alkaline or
lithium batteries).
•
Suction Cup Installation
(Fig C) – I-On™ includes a removable suction cup for
added functionality. To attach suction cup, line up metal pin with access hole in
battery door and insert. Turn suction cup 90 degrees to secure in place (a click
will be heard to indicate proper placement).
**For best results, use alcohol pad to clear both suction cup and surface prior to
use. Suction cup works best when used on smooth surfaces such as glass,
stainless steel, mirror, tile.
•
AC adapter
– Insert end of properly rated AC adapter into AC jack located on
side of I-On
™
base. Use only UL approved 9V 500MA AC adapter.
NOTE: Use of improperly rated AC adapters could lead to malfunction and will
void warranty.
Warnings:
•
I-On™ can be exposed to water but is not waterproof. Do not submerge unit in
water or leave exposed to water for prolonged periods.
•
If using I-On™ near water, do not power with A/C adapter.
