Using the

" Allen Key, remove the

cylindrical screw at the bottom of the

rail.

While holding the front part of the

guide rail system, move the middle
part of the guide rail system to align

the holes with the screws behind.

Using the

/

" Allen key, unscrew the

four screws holding the back part of the

guide rail system to the facing of the
fireplace. They will not come through

the guide rail, so unscrew a little bit of
every screw in order to be able to pull

forward the guide rail system
gradually. The guide rail system will

not come free just yet.

" wrench, remove the four nuts

holding the pulley support in place at

the very top of the left guide rail
system.

Pull the pulley support forward to

disengage the screws slowly. The guide
rail system is attached to the pulley

support.

Twist the whole assembly to be able to
bring the pulley support down and out

of the guillotine bay.

Remove the guide rail system from the

pulley support.

You can stop here if you want to

change a counterweight cable.
