This is a gas-fired appliance. It uses air (oxygen) from the room in which it is installed. Adequate 

combustion and ventilation air must be provided to safely operate the appliance. Refer to AIR FOR 

COMBUSTION AND VENTILATION on page 7 of this manual.
This appliance is convertible for use with propane/LP gas by using the Manual On/Off Valve/Safety 

Pilot Kit (see ACCESSORIES on page 16).
