Operation of the PSC Console
Example: When you desire to set the attribute data No. 100 to "–100.1", use the
following procedure.
Press the following keys to display the present setting as follows.
DATA 1 0 0 ENTER

Press the CLR key. The following display will appear.

Enter the desired value, "–100.1", by pressing the following keys. The
entered value will be shown in the Attribute Data Setting/Modifying Line
of the display as shown below.
+/– 1 0 0 . 1
Verify that the entered value is the desired one, and then, press the
ENTER key. If it is found that an incorrect value was entered, press the
CLR key, and then, enter the correct value.
Important:
•
The entered data are confirmed by pressing the ENTER key.
When the CLR key is pressed after entering any data without
pressing the ENTER key, the PSC Console will return to the
previous data, allowing you to enter data.

Significant digits of the attribute data are six digits. Note that the
negative sign and the decimal point are not included in the six
digits.
•
When entering a negative value, press the +/– key. This key has
dual functions of "+" and "–". If "–" is not displayed by pressing the
+/– key when you desire to enter a negative value, press the +/–
key again.
Be careful that the +/– key must be pressed before entering a
value. Pressing the +/– key after entering a value will not produce
a negative value.
