Retighten all screw connections after the first 10 hours of operation and a further check
after the first 50 hours
For safety reasons, check the wheel nuts regularly before each journey

Useful tips
11.1.
Parking without folding together

If possible, park the machine in a hall or in the shade.
✓
Slowly lower both working units, then move them in in floating position
✓
Lower the supporting foot and switch off the tractor
✓
Disconnect the connections and remove the PTO shaft
✓
Use wheel chocks on steep terrain
✓
Lower the lower links and extend them
11.2.
Straw operation
The units should “fly“ in straw
operation. This means that the units are not moved in floating
position, but instead lifted a little bit above ground to reduce wear.
Advantages for straw operations:

Less wear on the gliding discs
✓
Less diesel consumption due to lower power requirement
✓
Less dust formation
✓
Fewer foreign objects in the swath due to significantly less ground penetration of the tines
✓
Less tine wear
✓
Longevity of the pick-up
✓
Fewer knocks against the tractor: machine cannot sag when lanes are deep
