INTRODUCTION 

The 10-398 Arm & Hand surgery table is designed to fit several different operating tables when arm 
and hand surgery shall be performed. The table is made from carbon fiber laminate for excellent x-ray    
fluoroscopy facilities. The thin plate with cutouts gives very good access for the surgeon 

On the rear end there is an accessory rail for infusion stand and anesthetic frame. 

ABOUT USER MANUAL 

This user manual is for clinical personnel, service personnel and others who need the knowledge about 
and understanding of how the arm & hand surgery table works and how it shall be used. 

 

Read user manual carefully before use of the equipment. 

 

Always follow the instructions in user manual. 

 

Always keep user manual close to the equipment. 

INSTALLATION 

At the unpacking, check that there are no damages to the equipment and that there are no loose parts in 
the box. The packing material consists of cardboard and plastic which can be recycled. 

IMPORTANT SAFETY DIRECTIONS 

 

When attaching the arm & hand surgery table to the operating table, the responsible personnel 
must be sure of that the arm & hand surgery table is properly fixed to the operating table by the 
two locking knobs. 
 

 

Check before every use that there are no damages that can make the use hazardous. 
 

 

The arm & hand surgery table is designed for a Safe Working Load of 32kg. To keep the safety 
factor according to the European standards 60601 and 60601-2-46 the Safe Working Load shall 
not be exceeded. Overload can cause injuries to the patient or the personnel and damage to the 
equipment 

MAINTENANCE AND CARE 

Cleaning     

 

 

 

 

 

 

Clean with mild soap detergent with PH 6-8 and warm water. Dry with soft cloth. Do not

 

use alcohol or strong detergents containing strong acids or bases. 

Control 

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

Check daily for any kind of damage that can make the use hazardous. Also check the

 

locking function. 

Annual service 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once a year the arm & hand surgery table shall be carefully cleaned. Threads shall be 

 

lubricated with thin waterproof grease. Locking functions shall be tested. Damaged or

 

worn parts shall be replaced. 

Service and preventing maintenance must only be done by for this purpose educated personnel. 
Changing of any part of the construction without a written permission from the manufacturer is strictly 
forbidden. Transgression will be prohibited.
