6. Push the compression sleeve up to the fitting collar by repeatedly pushing
the handles together .
7 . Continue until you
hear a definite click
. When you
push the handles
together
again the tool will open easily .
8 . Remove the compressed joint from the tool (with handles closed) . . .
9 . . . . then open the tool using the release lever 6 .
10. Completed joint. Compression sleeve flush to the fitting collar!
Note:
During the compression process the required force to be applied will increase
due to the nature of the process . To make the compression easier, the joint
will still be compressed if the handles are only opened halfway and then
pushed back together again .
Using the tool at temperatures below -10 °C and above 50 °C can
damage the pipe joint components, the tool and/or result in personal
injury!
- Do not use the tool at temperatures below -10 °C
- In the case of low temperatures (below 0 °C) it is recommended that
the jointing components are stored temporarily in a warmer environ-
ment prior to processing
