This user manual contains a description of the medical device and important guidelines to ensure a correct
and safe usage of the product. It is important for all end users (patients) and for this particular product
especially for all attendants and assistants to read this manual carefully prior to use. It is essential to read
the safety requirements and follow them.

Gateway Indications & Intended Usage
The Gateway is a medical device that has been designed to be used by the people who have mobility
problems and their attendants. It is intended usage is support for disabled persons who ca
n’t stand or walk
independently during their transfer from one place to another e.g.: from bed to wheelchair, from wheelchair to
chair, from chair to toilet etc. This device can only be used with assistance of an attendant as the condition of
users usually does not let them to be independent in such activities. The platform was tested and approved
for users weighting up to 150kg. Any other use is prohibited. Thanks to its advantages life of patients and
their attendants becomes easier and the risk of injuries decreases by far.

er’s feet, upper aluminum frame that is used as a support

er’s legs and body, 6 wheels to move and maneuver with device, pedal brake that can be easily
activated or deactivated by attendant. The product is made of steel & aluminum and foldable, so it is easy
to store. The product offers great maneuverability, stability and its handles are height adjustable for a user fit.
