Requirement for making cutouts in countertops serving PITT:
For a solid surface (e.g. Corian or Hi Macs) stick aluminum
tape on the inside and 5mm around the top and bottom
of the cut out(s).
For a solid surface (e.g. Corian or Hi Macs) the PITT bur-
ners must be at least 200mm from the joints.
Min. 200 mm
For a solid surface (e.g. Corian or Hi Macs) never place the
PITT cooking system over a glued joint.
After creating the cut out(s) ensure that the interiors are
smooth to the touch.
Attach a facet (1x1mm) to the top and bottom of the cut
out(s).
Make sure that the inside of the cut out(s) are smooth.
Unevenness may cause cracks to form in the worktop.
