BACK-UP MONITORING SYSTEM
-
USING MIRRORS
o
Large mirrors are mounted on both sides of
your motorhome to provide rear visibility for
the driver. They do not provide visibility
directly behind or on top of the unit
-
USING SPOTTERS
o
For best results, have another person help
guide the driver while backing. The driver and
spotter should agree to the meaning of hand
signals before starting the backing process.
The spotter should always be in a position
that is visible to the driver while backing up.
Rear/Side Camera Monitoring System
Your motorhome might be equipped with a Rear camera
monitoring system with side cameras. Please refer to your
chassis owner’s manual for detailed operating
instructions on this system.
SIDE ENTRY STEPS
Your motorhome may be equipped with power entry
steps that automatically extend and retract when you
open and shut the driver, passenger and side entry door.
These steps are designed with a magnetic interlock
system that activates the lowering and raising of the
steps.
When the door is opened, the magnetic field is broken
and the step is lowered.
When the door is closed, the magnetic field is completed
and the step raises.
CAUTION
The rearview camera is only an aid. It cannot replace
your own awareness of the immediate surroundings.
You are responsible for safe parking. When parking
and pulling away, make sure that there are no
persons, animals or objects in the maneuvering area.
The rearview camera is a visual parking aid only.
CAUTION
Do NOT take your eyes off the road for extended
periods of time or a crash causing injury or death could
result. Do NOT give extended attention to the in-dash
entertainment system while driving.
