12. Attach the label “This unit has been converted to LPG” near or on top of
the serial # decal.
13. Replace yellow “NG” label with red “LPG” label.
14. Adjust aerations settings:
LRI3E = 1/4" (6 mm)
HRI3E = 5/16" (8 mm)
NOTE:
In higher elevations, air shutter settings may have to be opened
more to compensate.
The minimum air settings noted for the HRI3E are good for both media and
driftwood log set.
15. Reinstall burner removed in Step 7.
16. Check for gas leaks.
17. Check inlet and outlet pressures. See Gas Pipe Pressure Testing in manual.
18. Reverse steps 2-1 to reassemble unit.
19. Check operation of fl ame control.

10. Remove burner orifi ce with a 1/2" wrench. Use another wrench to hold
onto the elbow behind the orifi ce. Recycle orifi ce.
11. Reinstall new burner orifi ce LPG stamped #55 and tighten.

8. From inside the fi rebox, remove pilot retainer clip with pliers and pull off the
pilot cap to expose the pilot orifi ce.

to remove burner cover and 2 screws to remove burner (shown below).

9. Unscrew the pilot orifi ce with the Allen key; then replace with the LPG
pilot orifi ce and the pilot cap, provided in the kit.
