2.3
Transportation
Use a suitable vehicle for the weight of the unit (see table 3.1) In order to avoid
damages to the painting and to the internal components, keep the unit in
vertical position; never put it horizontally. If needed, the unit should be lifted
using a crane connected to proper installed hooks.
2.4
Installation
On receipt, carefully check the air-conditioner for possible damages due to
the transportation. In case of evident damages, please contact our offices to
obtain the required support.
2.4.1
Positioning and Leveling
For correct operation, the unit has to be fixed on a perfectly vertical wall.
In case of installation on the floor, place the machine on a perfect flat surface
and fix it on the floor with the brackets supplied with the unit. Then connect the
unit to the operating cabin with provided antivibration jonts (if present).
Make
sure that the mounting structure is correctly sized in relation to the weight of
machinery.
Not all types of units are suitable for direct exposure to weather. For outdoor
installations, refer to the degree of protection indicated in the data sheet, if
necessary, contact our technical department to define the required measures
for the protection of units. To facilitate maintenance and service operations
and extraordinary, it is necessary to ensure adequate working space. As
described in the layout positioning
ATTENTION
: It is very important to ensure that the inlet and outlet ports are free
from any obstruction or body in the immediate vicinity for a free flow of air and
to prevent the recirculation of the same air expelled.
The main consequences are:
Increase in internal temperature, the air conditioner can not cool down.
Overheating of the external heat exchanger.
Freezing the internal exchanger.
Reduction of the performance and efficiency.
Reduction in the duration / life of the air conditioner.
Operation of security devices and therefore blocked the production
process.
If the application is not sufficient to meet the above recommendations, please
contact our technical department to evaluate alternatives and to ensure the
proper functioning of the air conditioner.
