Read these operating instructions before attempting to connect or operate the device.

Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.

Do not expose the unit to moisture and do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on
the unit. Use only in dry areas.

Do not place naked flames such as candles or other heat sources on or near the unit.
5.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
6.
Ventilation must not be obstructed by covering the ventilation openings.

Make sure that the device is connected to a suitable voltage source (AC: 230V -50Hz). Using a
higher voltage may cause malfunction or defect of the device.

The device can also be used via DC 6V: 4x 1.5V batteries (size C).

Please make sure that you use only one type of power supply at a time. If you use the device via
the power cable, batteries must not be inserted. When using the device via batteries, the power
cable must not be plugged in.

If your hands are wet or damp, do not touch the power cord or batteries.

Do not use force to insert the power cord into the outlet if it does not fit.

To avoid damage to the power cord, do not place the power cord over sharp edges, do not pull
or pinch the power cord, and keep the power cord away from rodents.

Use only accessories and spare parts approved by the manufacturer.

Install the unit according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Place the device only in adequately ventilated environments.

Place the device on a flat and stable surface.

Do not expose to temperatures above 35° C.

When placing the device, make sure that 30 cm to the rear and the top of the device and 5 cm
from each side are observed.

Dispose of used batteries or defective rechargeable batteries in an environmentally friendly

Always make sure that the power cord is disconnected from the socket before transport or
cleaning. Only clean the device with a dry cloth.

Disconnect the device from the power supply during thunderstorms or when the device is not

This device has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair this unit yourself. Only
qualified service personnel should perform maintenance. In the event of a defect, contact your

Especially when the device is operated by children, note that no objects may be inserted into
the device openings, as this could lead to a fatal electric shock.

Do not place the device near TV sets, loudspeakers and other objects that generate strong
magnetic fields.

Do not leave the device unattended when in use.

If the device does not work properly, disconnect the device from the mains or remove the
batteries. Wait a few seconds and reconnect the device to the mains or reinsert the batteries.
