b) Installing the Receiver Aerial Cable
First open the car body (see chapter 9. a). Guide the aerial
cable through the enclosed aerial tube (1) and plug it into
the respective holder (2) at the top of the vehicle.
For a wide range, the aerial needs to protrude from the
vehicle as vertically as possible.
Never coil the aerial cable! This greatly reduces the ran-
ge.
Ensure that the aerial cable is not damaged. Never shor-
ten the aerial cable!
c) Inserting Batteries/Rechargeable Batteries into the Transmitter
Open the transmitter’s battery compartment and insert either batteries or fully charged rechargeable batteries. Obser-
ve correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-), see label on the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment again.
Observe the enclosed operating instructions for the remote control system.
d) Taking the Transmitter into Operation
Switch on the transmitter and put the trimming for steering and driving functions into the centre positions. If the trans-
mitter has a dual rate function, deactivate it or set it to unlimited steering deflection.
Observe the enclosed operating instructions for the remote control system.
e) Inserting the Drive battery in the Vehicle
Attention!
The drive battery must not be connected to the speed controller yet. First switch on the transmitter, see
chapter 9. c) and d).
Important!
This vehicle is suitable only for use with a LiPo drive battery with 2 cells (nominal voltage of drive battery
7.4 V) or NiMH drive battery with 6 cells (nominal voltage 7.2 V).
When using a drive battery with more cells, there is a danger of fire from overheating of the speed controller.
Apart from this, the vehicle‘s drive will be overloaded and damaged by this (e.g. differential). Loss of gua-
rantee/warranty!
Check that the rechargeable battery has a plug system matching the speed controller and that the polarity
is right (red cable = plus/+, black cable = minus/-).
