When the flight battery is low the red and green LEDs keep on flashing. Return the race copter immediately to land
and recharge the flight battery after a 5 to 10 minute cooling-off period.
The race copter is a powerful machine. You must move the left throttle control stick slowly to ensure that it
does not climb rapidly and cause a collision.
Low-voltage protection: the race copter is equipped with a system whereby the control system will cut the
power supply to the rotors, when the race copter battery level is low. In this case, the battery will have to
be recharged to resume flying.
a) Flight controls
•
Place the race copter on a flat surface.
• Turn on the transmitter. Set the
ON
/
OFF
switch (8) to position
ON
.
• Turn the left throttle/rudder control stick (1) downwards to the lowest position.
•
The race copter will beep two times and the Power LED (2) will constantly light up. This confirms that binding is
complete and the race copter is ready for take-off.
• Press the LED off button (4) to switch off the LEDs. Press the LED on button (3) to switch on the LEDs.
• Push the throttle/rudder control stick slowly forward. The propellers will start to rotate and the race copter will take
off.
• Accelerate the speed by pushing the throttle/rudder control stick slowly forward. Decrease the speed by pulling
throttle/rudder control stick backwards.
• Rotate the aircraft by moving the throttle/rudder control stick to the left or right.
• Move the aircraft forward by pushing the right elevator/aileron control stick (5) to the front. Move the aircraft
backward by pulling the elevator/aileron control stick to the back.
• Fly the aircraft to the left or right by moving the elevator/aileron control stick to the left or right.
b) Speed Selector
• The race copter has 2 speeds.
• Press the low speed button (6) or high speed button (7) to select the desired speed.
- One beep: low speed
- Two beeps: high speed
c) Manual and stabilize button
With the manual button (10) you can select a normal faster mode for experienced and skilled pilots. With the stabilize
button (11) you can select a more stable mode for beginners.
•
Press the manual or stabilize button at any time before or during the flight.
•
The manual mode lets you fly the race copter faster.
• The stabilize mode lets you hover the race copter more stable in the air and at a slower speed.
