Dear customer, these safety instructions are not only for the protection of the product but also for your own safety and that of other people.
Therefore, read this chapter very carefully before taking the product into operation!
a) General Information
Caution, important note!
Operating the model may cause damage to property and/or individuals. Therefore, make sure that you are sufficiently insured when using the
model, e.g. by taking out private liability insurance. If you already have private liability insurance, verify whether or not operation of the model is
covered by your insurance before commissioning your model.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is prohibited for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• This product is not a toy and not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
• The product must not become wet.
• The model is only designed for use outside of closed rooms. Exhaust and fuel vapours are harmful to health! Never operate the combustion engine in closed
rooms, not even for test purposes.
• Take note of the equipment regulations and the maintenance instructions for the vehicle.
• Only use original replacement parts.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
• Should questions arise that are not answered by the operating manual, contact us (for contact information, see chapter 1) or another expert.
The operation and handling of remote controlled model cars must be learned! If you have never driven such a vehicle before, drive particularly
carefully and get used to the reactions of the car to the remote control commands first. Do be patient!
b) Engine & Fuel
• Also pay attention to the running-in regulations for the engine.
• Only use model vehicle fuel designed for RC models. For RC cars, fuel on methanol/oil basis, minimum share of 5% - 25% nitro methane and 16% oil is used
Never use conventional vehicle gas! Also, never use fuel for flight models, because it does not contain enough oil.
• Do not touch the engine and the exhaust during operation! Never reach into the drive and do not insert any objects in it!
Danger of burns and injury!
• Switching off the engine: Keep the exhaust closed with an engine stopper (alternatively a rag) to shut off the engine. The fuel supply should not be disconnected,
or the fuel mix may turn lean and the engine run with insufficient lubrication. Wait until the engine has stopped before turning off the receiver and then the
transmitter.
• Store fuel in a locked place and out of the reach of children! Contact with eyes, mucous membranes and skin, as well as swallowing, must be avoided. If you
feel unwell, contact a doctor! The components of the model fuel methanol and nitro methane are toxic!
Danger to health!
• Never spill the fuel. Use a special fuel bottle to fuel the car.
• Test-runs or drives must only take place outdoors. Do not inhale the fuel and exhaust fumes.
• Car fuel is highly flammable. Do not smoke when fuelling No open fire!
Danger of explosion and fire!
