Troubleshooting
Problem
Solution
Every second, display digits
jump simultaneously
Low battery. Remove cover and replace
battery.
Display frozen
Remove battery, wait 30 secs. and put
the battery back into the instrument.
Full length reading error
≥ 0.1mm
Sensor may have dirt or deposits
in it. Remove cover and slider
assembly. Blow sensor face with clean
pressurized air and clean with a dry,
lint-free cloth.
No display on LCD screen
1. Poor battery contact. Check battery
compartment.
2. Replace battery.
Maintenance and Care
1. Keep body of instrument clean and prevent liquid from getting into
slider as it may damage the instrument.
2. Display should be cleaned with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth.
Lubricate instrument with a few drops of clock oil. Avoid using
acetone and alcohol.
3. Keep battery compartment clean and free of corrosion.
