Physical Setup
1. Install Tracker with any standard 1”
wide, 14 thread per inch (TPI)
marine grade
antenna mount. We do not include an antenna mount with this product. Various
mounting options can be found at your local marine supply store.
2. Run the power cable to your preferred power location.
Unit is not protected
against reverse polarity. Ensure correct wiring before applying power.
Incorrect power will void warranty.
Vehicle Mounting
When mounting on a vehicle, make sure there is no large
obstruction blocking its view of the sky.
Run power cable into the cabin of the vehicle and plug it into a
power source.
Recommended Accessory: 12V “cigarette plug” adapter (sold separately).
Ship Mounting
The Tracker can be installed in many different locations on board.
Make sure it has a clear view of the sky and there is no large
obstruction blocking its view of the sky.
The tracker must not be on the same plane as the radar equipment.
For best performance the tracker should be installed 2.5 meters (about
8 ft) away from all radar or other RF devices that may cause
interference.
You will notice an arrow on the bottom of the tracker. This arrow must
face the bow of your vessel.
Building Mounting
When mounting on a building, make sure that there is
no obstruction blocking its view of the sky.
Run power cable from the dome to your preferred
powering location.
