located on the housing. The absence of the serial number will deprive you of your warranty
benefits!
Completely unwind the power cord. Wipe the unit with a moist cloth. Unwanted odour
during the first use doesn’t signify the appliance defect.
After transportation or storage at low temperatures allow the appliance to stay at room
temperature for at least 2 hours before use.
Ensure that outer and visible inner parts of the appliance are not damaged, do not have
chips and other defects.
Before using the appliance as intended, perform the heating cycle with the empty
sandwich maker to remove technical protective oil. Then unplug the appliance, let cool
down and clean according to section "Cleaning and maintenance".
II. OPERATION
Use of the appliance
1. Plug in the appliance. Red power indicator will light up solid. When the appliance
reaches the required temperature the green indicator will light up solid. The
appliance is ready for operation. You can use the appliance irrespectively of green
indicator lighting if the appliance is plugged in.
If the green indicator goes out during operation that means the Keep Warm function
was automatically enabled.
2.
Open the appliance. Put two slices onto the lower plate, spread the filling on each
piece and cover with two other pieces of bread. It is possible to make only one
sandwich if necessary.
For optimal pressing do not put the filling too close to slice edges.
Non-stick plate coating allows to cook without oil. However, you may apply a small
amount of vegetable oil or butter to plate working surface if desired.
3. Press products with the upper plate until the lid lock mechanism clicks. There can be
a small distance between plates.
4. The heating indicator will be occasionally lit up during cooking. The cooking time
is defined by the type of product (the type of bread, filling) and your taste. Cooking
process takes 4-5 minutes on an average.
5.
Open the lid of the appliance after a while. If the dish has acquired golden crust, remove
it with a wooden or silicone spatula.

Unplug the appliance at the end of operation. Clean the appliance according to
recommendations of the section "Cleaning and maintenance".
