VI. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES
Before you start cleaning the device, ensure that it is unplugged and has cooled down. Use soft cloth and mild soap to clean. We recommend cleaning
the device after each use. Prior to first use or in order to remove the odor after cooking, boil half a lemon for 20 minutes using “GOTOWANIE” mode
with steam release valve closed.
Do not use a sponge with hard or abrasive surface, abrasive cleaning agents or any other chemically aggressive substances to clean the device.
Clean
the housing
as needed.
Clean
the bowl
after each use (dishwasher safe), by the end of cleaning wipe the outer surface of the bowl dry.
Clean
the inner lid
after each use:
1. Open the lid. Find the retaining nut located on the inner side of the lid. Unscrew the nut (by turning it counterclockwise) holding by the lid and
carefully separate the lid from the jointed mechanism.
2. Clean inner surface of the lid and wipe dry.
3. Place the lid back by matching the opening in the center of the lid with the screw on the lever of the jointed mechanism (lid locking lever must
be on the top), and firmly screw in the retaining nut (by turning it clockwise).
To clean the inner surface of the lid thoroughly, remove rubber sealing ring and disassemble the steam release valve.
Clean the steam release valve after each use of the device:
1. Remove steam valve regulator located on the outer side of the lid by pulling it up.
2. Unscrew the protective cover located on the inner side of the lid.
3. Rinse both parts of the valve with water.
4.
Screw the protective cover back on, and get the steam valve regulator fixed in the pinhole by applying slight pressure.
Clean the
rubber sealing ring
located on the inner side of the lid as needed: remove the ring, rinse it under warm water and evenly place it back.
Condensation may accumulate inside
the collector
located on the back of the housing. Pull condensation collector down to remove, pour the water
out, and place collector back into place.
