INTRODUCTION

The Intelligent Meter for Strain Gage Inputs (IMS) is another unit in our mul-

tipurpose series of industrial control products that is field-programmable to solve
multiple applications.  This series of products is built around the concept that end
user has the capability to program different personalities and functions into the
unit in order to adapt to different  indication and control requirements.

The Intelligent Strain Gage Meter which you have purchased has the same high

quality  workmanship  and  advanced  technological  capabilities  that  have  made
