• If replacing this with a device that has an identical design, readjust the DIP switch if
necessary.

When a line fault is detected, the output signal is identical to the input signal.

Operation
10.1 Operation
For device operation, observe the information in chapter "Function" and
"Parameterization and Commissioning".
10.2 Indications
The corresponding LEDs on the device indicate the operating state of the device
(see also the "Function and device design" section).
*) Activation of line fault detection for channel 1 or 2 using the DIP switch "LF1" or "LF2"
The line fault detection incorporates the output and input.
Therefore, open outputs cause a error message. Unused active outputs
should be connected to a 250 Ω resistor.
Changing the DIP switch settings is also permitted during operation in
Zone 2 and with connected intrinsically safe input signals.
