OPERATIONS
Note:
Before switching on the station for the first time, unscrew the 4 screws
marked with arrows on the bottom of the device.
Temperature settings:
1. Turn temperature control knob to set desired temperature.
2. Turn airflow control knob to set desired airflow volume.
Note:
• in the temperature range of 350 - 450°C, it is recommended to select the airflow
rate at the level of 3 – 8
• at temperatures above 450°C, the airflow should be set above level 4
• airflow of 1-5 is recommended for single nozzles
QFP Soldering
1. Connect the mains plug to a power socket. Cold airflow will turn on.
2. Assemble the desired nozzles into the position
Note:
Do not press the Nozzle or pull on the edge of the Nozzle by pliers. Also, do not
tighten the screw too tightly.
3. Turn on the power switch, set the air flow rate and temperature, and put the unit
on the racket.
4. Apply the proper quantity of solder paste and install the SMD on the PWB.
5. After operation, turn off the power switch and let the device cool down before
storing.
QFP Desoldering
1. Place the pick-up tool under the chip, choosing the appropriate width.
2. Put the nozzle on the pins of the IC (do not touch directly), so that the hot air can
melt the solder tin on the IC pin, and then use the tweezers to remove the IC.
3. After operation, turn off the power switch and let the device cool down before
storing.
