Loop Jaw Assembly Tree Buckle

through Jaw Assembly Ratchet Strap

     .
With the Jaw Assembly Ratchet Strap

       attached, wrap the Jaw Assembly

Tree Buckle      around tree trunk at a

lower diagonal point from the Stabilizer

Bar       (as shown right). Feed Jaw 

Assembly Tree Buckle Webbing 

though the spring loaded cam buckle 

and firmly tighten around tree trunk.
Position Jaw Assembly Ratchet Strap

     so that it faces the ladder.  Feed

Vertical Jaw Assembly Strap 

through ratchet strap and ratchet the 

strap tight until the tension closes the 

ladder jaws.  

DO NOT overtighten

.

correct operation of the Ratchet Strap.

NOTE:  

The Ladder Jaws are designed to wrap around

a tree trunk when Vertical Jaw Assembly Vertical Strap       

     is tightened.  

  

 

Before engaging the Ladder Jaw Mechanism:

1)  Check that the Ladder stand is properly installed on 

      correct sized tree.  If the ladder jaws cannot close

      on the tree trunk (pictured left), the tree is too 

      large for safe installation. 

2) Check that the installation straps       are correctly 

    wrapped around the tree base and tightly secured 

3) The ladder base is correctly and safely secured

    onto level ground.

Check to make sure the Vertical Jaw Assembly

Strap      is not caught, tangled  or snagged.

Make sure the strap falls flat and straight from the

foot platform.

Carefully loop the Vertical Jaw Assembly Vertical

Strap      through either the right or left metal 

hooks on the Stabilizer Bar      (as shown left).

Lightly pull on Vertical Jaw Assembly Vertical 

Strap       to check and make sure that both ladder 

jaws close in on the tree trunk.
