Assembly Tips
1. Selecting Location and Preparing for Assembly
a. The bigger the project, the more people you need for assembly.
Assess your needs and determine if you need to invite a friend or two.
b. Space helps, so give yourself plenty , keeping in mind that you’ll have to move
the product to a final destination.
c. Extension cords are unsightly . So be sure to consider all power sources before
picking the final location of your furniture.
d. Avoid scratching or damaging by selecting a smooth and soft work surface.
If the assembly location has a hard surface, a blanket will do nicely.
2. Opening Packaging
a. Sharp tools are not for opening RTA packaging . Often, there are exposed surfaces
that can be damaged in the process.
b. Protect yourself and your furniture by removing any remaining staples from
cartons before discarding.
c. Remove all parts from the carton and place the similar ones together.
Then check what you have against the parts list included in the instructions.
If you have everything, you can start assembling.
3. Following Instructions
a. Get a feel for the assembly sequence by reviewing the instructions.
b. The steps are meant to be followed in order. Skip one and you may experience a
dissatisfactory result.
c. Save your battery and do not use power tools to assemble.
Unintentional stripping or over tightening may occur.
4. Moving—Don’t Do it Yourself
a. Congratulations! You completed assembly. Now that you’re ready to move it,
make sure at least one other person helps you.
