AccuPure FF1-C Replacement Cartridge Change-out Instructions

For the AccuPure FF1 Drinking Water System

1.   Place towel under filter to collect any residual water during replacement

filter change-out.

2.  Grasp filter (see figures 1 & 2) and turn to the left (counterclockwise)

until filter comes to a complete stop (water automatically turns off).

Water may leak momentarily from vent tube. This is normal. Gently pull

filter downward to remove (see figure 3).

3.  Remove sanitary protective cap from new replacement filter.
4.   Ensure both o-rings are present on the replacement filter and are seated

into grooves; moisten o-rings with water. DO NOT use any petroleum

products to lubricate the o-rings.

5.  Insert replacement filter into filter head assembly. Turn replacement filter

one quarter turn to the right (clockwise) until it stops. When fully engaged,

the top surface of the filter will be flush with the bottom of the filter head

assembly.

6.  Open faucet and run water for a minimum of 5 gallons (approximately 2

minutes). While system is flushing, check for leaks. Repair any leaks as

needed before continuing.

7.  Close filter system faucet. System is now under pressure and can be

inspected for leaks. Repair any leaks as needed before continuing. The

system is now ready for use.

Read entire product manual. Failure to follow all product instructions could cause personal injury from exposure to contaminants
and/or property damage due to water leakage or flooding.
• Before using, flush any new filter cartridge with water according to the installation instructions and/or Performance Data Sheet. In
addition, flush the cartridge whenever the system has not been used for more than 72 hours.
• REPLACE FILTER CARTRIDGE no later than every 12 months. If the rated gallon capacity is reached or a noticeable reduction in flow rate,
change in odor or taste occurs before 12 months of use, then replace filter promptly. Failure to replace filter cartridge according to these
instructions may result in failure of filter to reduce contaminants as designed AND/OR property damage due to water leakage
   or flooding.
• DO NOT use product if it has been hit, dropped or damaged.
• THIS SYSTEM DOES NOT REMOVE ALL SUBSTANCES THAT COULD BE PRESENT IN DRINKING WATER. This System reduces the
listed substances identified in the Performance Data Sheet.
• VERIFY THIS SYSTEM meets your water treatment needs by checking your incoming water source quality and comparing to the systems
capabilities described in the Performance Data Sheet. Check water source quality by contacting your local water authority and/or having
water tested by a qualified laboratory. Check water quality regularly as it can change. After installation, check outgoing filtered water
quality regularly to ensure system is installed correctly and meeting your treatment needs. Actual performance may vary depending on
your local water and plumbing conditions and water-consumption patterns.
• Extra precaution is needed if incoming water contains unusually high contaminant levels. If incoming contaminant levels exceed the
Average Incoming Challenge Water Concentration level tested by NSF as stated on the performance data sheet, do not rely on this
system alone. Contact your state/local water authority to determine what additional measures are needed.
