The default view is preconfigured in the settings (Configure -> Options -> View).  This
always appears as the first view after verification. The icons and the corresponding
menu change the view on demand to the required view without changing the default
setup.

Verification report details

The following icons are available in the graphical view of a verification report:

Binarisation

This icon highlights in yellow everything in the image that has been evaluated as dark.
This makes it possible to identify places where shadows or excessively thick/thin
printing has shifted thresholds so far that they are now hiding individual code
elements.

Edge grid

The edge grid displays the reconstructed grid matrix. This enables the identification of
matrix cell positions and whether the symbol was correctly identified. Symbols with
uneven brightness or with distortions (due to rounding, for example) risk a situation
where the matrix is inadequately identified. With the help of this highlighting, a rapid
check can be made to see whether the identified matrix corresponds to the actual
code image. If there are large deviations, this indicates that measurement is invalid
and erroneous, and must be repeated.

Centre grid

In this grid pattern, the lines cross in the middle of the matrix cells. The function and
interpretation are otherwise the same as for the edge grid.
