Does PRO MOBILE use rechargeable batteries?
Yes – they recharge when the unit is cradled. Always remember to dock PRO
MOBILE in its cradle when not in use. If PRO MOBILE loses battery power it must re-
charge overnight.
Does PRO MOBILE turn OFF?
No - PRO MOBILE never turns off. It just goes to sleep – just hit any button to wake it up.
If nothing happens, use the Red button at the bottom. Holding red button can reboot it too.
How often does PRO MOBILE update?
Every night. Daily item and software updates are automatically downloaded during the night,
but you must leave the unit docked and the PC on. If PRO MOBILE is not in cradle overnight,
the update will download the next time when you order, or the next night.
Do I have to send orders through PRO WEB?
Yes, but you do not have to review them. If your orders are set-up to Auto-Pull, PRO MOBILE
orders will go at the same time. If not, you must manually SEND them to RDC from ProWeb.
How long do updates take?
Up to 5 minutes to get full item update and software updates. Night updating is the best.
How do I change an item quantity?
1.) Exit the order.
2.) Go back into the order.
3.) Rescan the item
4.) Qty field should now be highlighted – change quantity and you’re done
Can I search for items?
Yes, by alpha sort, or by Fine Line Class. To sort by Alpha, press the SRCH key. Press the
orange A key to convert the keyboard to letters. Enter the description – use as many
characters as you can to narrow down the search. When done, press the ENT key. Give
the unit enough time to find the item.
To sort by FLC, press the SRCH key. Hit the FLC key. Scroll down until you find the
desired class, then hit the SEL key.

This feature is for RDC to help you troubleshoot communication issues
How do I get order confirmation?
Use the Invoices Tab on PRO WEB to confirm RDC’s receipt of the order
How can I do an annual inventory of my store with PRO MOBILE?
The Enter Inventory menu option can be used to perform an inventory and works in a
similar way to doing an order. Please provide us with an email address at least 1 day prior
to transmitting the inventory so that our system can automatically send you back a report.
