General information about programming R-COD 500 and R-COD 500 IR
Use this procedure when using the keypad to change the settings:
1.
Enter the system code (default 1 2 3 4). The left symbol lights up red to confirm
entering programming mode.
2.
Select the desired menu number (see below) and then #.
3.
Complete the desired programming. Confirm with # and back out of the menu with *.
4.
To return to operating mode, press *. The left symbol stops shining.
The unit’s LED lamps help with programming because they show which step you are at.
The following symbols are used in the instructions to show what the unit looks like
after
you do the step:
Off
(operating mode)
Red LED shining
(programming mode)
Middle green
LED shining
Righthand green
LED shining

Changing the system code
The system code is used to enter the programming menu.
Change the system code upon commissioning so that no unauthorised person can use
the system code to reprogram access codes.
If the system code has fewer digits than any of the access codes, no access code may
have the same initial digits as the system code.
