All connectors are placed on the rear panel, for easier cabling in rack configuration.
ENABLE / DISABLE PHANTOM POWER
The phantom power is enabled by default, but if not needed can be disabled following this
procedure:
1. open the metal removing all the screws;
2. for those microphones that do not require phantom power, remove the two jumpers
close to input connector, shown in the picture.
DATA and LINK LEDS. Provide feedback on the connection and data exchange between NS
9048 and DXT 9000 amplifiers.
MICROPHONES INPUTS. Up to eight microphones can be connected on the rear panel, and
assigned to different system’s zones.
PRESENCE LEDS for each microphone.
RS485 INPUT from DXT 9000 amplifier. The maximum distance is 8km, with properly
shielded and twisted cable pairs. This connection includes power supply: the operational
voltage is 24V DC or 48V DC and can be provided by EN54-4 power supplies (PS 4048 or
PS 6048).
RS485 OUTPUT to the other NS 9048. Up two units can be connected to the same DXT
9000 amplifiers.
RESET BUTTON. It is used only for device firmware update.
