BM 7608 USE
The BM 7608 paging microphone is the compact affordable version of the
BM 7608D model, with the same features but the display and the numeric
keyboard.
Although the display is not present, all system events are anyway indicated
by the paging microphone LEDs:
-
Green LEDs

indicate their respective activated ZONE / FUNCTION
buttons.
-
Steady red LEDs
{
indicate the EVACUATION message.
-
Steady yellow LEDs
{
indicate the ALERT message.
-
Blinking yellow LEDs
{
indicate a fault.
1. ZONE SELECTION
Zones can be directly selected by using one or more zone / function buttons.
A general call selection (if set in the configuration software) can be assigned
to a zone / function button.
After selecting zones, push the PTT button to start paging.
2. EVACUATION / ALERT MESSAGES

enter
the
access
level

by
inserting
the
4-
digit
code
through
the
zone
/
function
buttons
(
see
the

ey
’
button
).
Select the alarm zones by using one or more zone / function buttons.
Evacuation and alert message file are selected in the PC software.
Either push the

EVACUATION
button (to start the EVACUATION
message) or the 5 ALERT button (to start the ALERT message) to the chosen
zones.
Push the

RESET
button to stop the EVACUATION / ALERT message.
During the message play, it is possible to add or remove zones by pushing
the respective zone / function buttons and then ALERT or EVAC again. To
deactivate a single zone, select it and the push the RESET button.
3. OTHER PRE-RECORDED MESSAGES
