The first time you turn on your DVD player, a
Language Selection menu appears. If you want the
DVD player’s menus to appear in
English,
press the
OK button on the remote control. If you prefer
another language, press the
button until that
language is highlighted and press OK to select it.
Loading Discs
You can load up to 5 discs into your DVD player, but you
must do so properly.
1.
To open the disc tray, press OPEN•CLOSE (the disc
tray opens).
2.
Insert a compatible disc (see list on page 12) into the
disc slot that is fully visible (see illustration).
3.
To load another disc, press DISC SKIP (the disc tray
rotates so another disc slot is fully visible).
4.
When you’re finished loading discs, press
OPEN•CLOSE (the disc tray closes).
Loading Discs during playback
Your 5-disc DVD player has been designed so you can
remove/add discs without interrupting playback of the
current disc.
1.
While a disc is playing, press EXCHANGE (the disc
tray opens with two disc slots exposed).
2.
Add/remove discs into the two disc slots visible, and
press EXCHANGE when you’re finished (the disc
tray closes).

Point the Remote in the Right Direction and Put it in DVD Mode
When you want the remote to operate the DVD Player, point the remote at the DVD Player,
not
the TV. Make sure the remote is in DVD mode - press the DVD button. Also, you must make sure
there is a clear path between the remote control and the DVD Player because the remote
control uses infrared (IR) technology that sends a command from the remote control to the IR
sensor on the front of the DVD player.
Turn on the TV and DVD Player
1.
Turn on your TV and tune it to the correct Video Input Channel (if you don’t know which
channel is the Video Input channel, go to page 9 for help).
2.
Make sure the remote is in DVD mode (press the DVD button). Press the ON•OFF button
to turn on the DVD Player.
