The Program Guide
Your HDTV Tuner’s program guide shows several hours of programming for one channel at a time.
Displaying and Navigating through the Program Guides
You can quickly access the tuner’s guide for the current channel by pressing the GUIDE button on the remote. Use the arrow buttons on
your remote to navigate through the programs. Press the GUIDE button again to clear the Program Guide from the screen.
Information in the Guide
50-1 NBC
Current channel.
8:16 PM 3/06
Current time and date.
Sports Update
Title of the highlighted program (if available).
10:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Time the highlighted program starts and finishes (if this information is
available).
Closed-captioning is available for the program (press OK with the program
highlighted to find out more).
The program is rated (press OK with the program highlighted to find out more).
There is more information about the program available (press OK with the
program highlighted to find out more).
Program Details
You can access more information about the highlighted program in the guide by pressing OK.
Sports Update
Title of the selected program (if available).
HD
Shows whether the selected program is being broadcast in high-definition (HD)
or standard-definition (SD).
Caption
Shows the types of captions available for the selected program (if available).
English
The primary audio language for the selected program (if available).
N/A
The rating for the selected program (if available). “N/A” means that the rating
for this program has not been received by the HDTV Tuner.
Some programs offer additional information, such as a description of the
program.
Note:
The availability of program names and program detail for the guides varies from
broadcaster to broadcaster.
The Info Banner
You can get more information on the program and channel you’re watching by pressing INFO on your remote control. The info banner
appears. To clear the info banner from the screen, press INFO again.
The info banner gives information on the type of broadcast (HD or SD), the types of
captions available, the primary audio language and the rating for the program you’re
currently watching (if this information is available). See
