10. Wing Tip Float Sub-Assembly (2 required)
A.
Glue 3/16” dia. x 4-1/4” long
dowel into center strut
lamination.
B.
Add outer strut laminations.
C.
Add outer float laminations.
D.
Streamline leading and trailing
vertical edges of the strut.
E.
Sand airfoil mating surface
square, smooth, and free of glue.
F.
Set aside assemblies for last
step to add to the wing.
Note: Outer float laminations shown
shaped to final contour. Do final
shaping after glue is finished
curing. This will prevent
unnecessary dents and dings in
the foam.
