Transducer cable extension
For some installations it may be necessary to extend the transducer cable.
• Refer to
for a list of suitable transducer extension cables.
• Raymarine recommends a maximum of one cable extension for any single transducer cable.
• For best performance, keep all cable lengths to a minimum.
Cable extensions for Wide Beam transducers
All Wide Beam transducers are supplied with a fixed 2 m cable.
You must pair the fixed 2 m cable with an appropriate extension cable to connect the Wide Beam
transducer to your CHIRP sonar module.
For paired Wide Beam transducer installations, extension cables must be placed between the
Y-cable and the transducer.
