Connecting the air conditioning condensate drain tubing:

Ensure the tubing to the pump intake is fastened securely so that it cannot come 

out of the pump intake port.

Cut the tubing at an angle so that the bottom of the reservoir does not close the 

tubing outlet. Be sure the tubing does not interfere with the float.

Connect the tubing from the pump discharge hose barb to the floor drain, laundry 

tub, or sink. Leave an air gap above the tub drain.
