NSTALLATION
Use the following procedure to properly install the Smartboom system.
1. Locate the 12 pin armrest harness connector behind the armrest.
2. Disconnect and tee in the Smartboom harness.
3. Inspect the existing 12 pin armrest connector to determine if pin 12
is populated.
• If not populated, locate the single packard connector on the
armrest harness and tee in Smartboom harness. Master
switch sense is now connected and installation is
complete.
• If populated, installation is complete (master switch sense
is already connected internally to the Smartboom harness).
Connect single packard connectors on Smartboom
harness together to prevent contamination.
